  • My portfolio recommendations are tailored for investors with short- to long-term horizons who fund 100% of their investments independently, without utilising broker-provided margin.
  • For equity investments, which are long-term products, patience is crucial for achieving significant capital appreciation. Short-term portfolio drawdowns can vary widely, from 0% to over 90%, depending on the types, number, and weighting of the underlying scripts. Consequently, higher return expectations require a greater risk tolerance.
  • Even with a well diversified portfolio of 50 equally weighted scripts, equity investors should generally be prepared for a risk tolerance exceeding 30%. For equity portfolios with as few as one script, investors might need to tolerate risks well beyond 90%.
  • However, if the portfolio consists of Equity ETFs, risk levels can drop to around 20%. A portfolio consisting solely of Debt ETFs typically exhibits the lowest risk compared to other combinations of equities and ETFs.

  • Install Telegram: Download and install the Telegram app on your mobile device or computer.
  • Register & Log In: Register and log in to the Telegram app using the exact same mobile number provided during your subscription KYC.
  • Find Our Bot: Search for “IdealPortfolioBot” on Telegram app or use this direct link:

  • Start Interaction: Click “Start” to initiate interaction with the bot. You will receive your Telegram AppID in response.
  • Verify Your Mobile Number and Telegram AppID: Enter your 10-digit mobile number along with your Telegram AppID in the following format. Start with ‘/’, then your 10-digit mobile number, an underscore ‘_’, and your Telegram AppID. For example: /9916671155_4256743678.
  • Request Portfolio: Send your subscription plan specific bot command in this format: /StocksGroup_PortfolioSize_InvestmentAmount. For the exact bot command corresponding to this plan, please refer to the first line of its short description above. After subscribing to a plan, you can adjust the investment amount indicated in the bot command according to your financial situation, whether higher or lower. However, the recommended investment amount for this plan remains the amount specified above. All other attributes of your subscription plan remain fixed throughout its tenure.
  • Receive Portfolio: The “IdealPortfolioBot” will reply with your customised model portfolio, tailored to your subscription plan and quoted investment amount.

Managing Your Portfolio:

As per the rebalancing frequency of your selected plan, send the bot command in the specified format. Once you receive the portfolio update from the bot, ensure your current holdings in your broker’s demat account match the latest portfolio recommendations.

  • Sell Unrecommended Scripts: Promptly sell all the shares of any script you hold that is not recommended in the latest portfolio update. Sell such shares at prevailing market prices.
  • Adjust Recommended Scripts: For scripts you currently hold that are also being recommended, modify your share quantities to align with the latest portfolio update. Sell any excess shares or purchase additional shares at the prevailing market prices.
  • Purchase New Scripts: If a recommended script is not in your current holdings, promptly buy the recommended number of shares at prevailing market prices.
